With it's wide fat tire, low center of gravity, and slackened headset angle, the Early Rider Classic balance bike is surely the most stable learner bike of all--as well as the coolest. By removing the pedals and training wheels, the Early Rider Classic encourages mobility and rapid development of balance, strength and fine motor skills. Suggested for riders between 2 and 4-1/2 years measuring at least 35 inches, the Early Rider Classic offers a bigger frame and a 14-inch front wheel that allows your child to get more out of the bike for longer. The seat post extends from 12 to 15 inches, and you can also extend the handlebar in an unrestricted steering mode. It's made of FSC certified birch, and it also features aluminum rims, pneumatic tires, and steel spokes. It's backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

I have actually been up and personal with over 10 balance bike and the Early Rider is one of the best we've experienced. Not only does it look cool, the super fat tires make cruising look effortless. With a small push, my son takes off and I quickly have to start running to catch up with him. I admit I was skeptical about a wood bike, but honestly it's appears to be built like a tank. We've only had it for a month, but already love it. One word of caution however, be prepared to answer a lot of questions when you are out with this bike. However, it really bothered me is made in China. I really don't like to pay such pricy tag from Chinese people. I wish I was order from Amazon, not their web-site. So, I could return them.
