I bought this same model in May of this year, and not even two weeks later, the "L" shaped supports of the training wheels started bending inwards, until eventually they broke off. My daughter is of average weight for a 5 year old. The metal they used is as flimsy as a piece of sheet metal. How is this safe? Then, after 3 months, the chain started popping off. I remounted the chain 5 times. Now, it wont stay on at all! I tightened everything on the pedaling mechanism, and still no improvement. Im just really disappointed in Huffy and the shoddy materials they used for this bike. What a piece of crap.
